Hello! I am currently a masters student at Villanova University studying avian Behavioral Ecology, specifically social behavior and mate choice, in Dr. Robert Curry’s lab.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Dickinson College studying Neuroscience and Behavior in May 2015.
My career goal is to do work that benefits animal conservation through a better understanding of animal behavior, both in captivity and in the wild. I have spent time both in an animal sanctuary/zoo setting as well as in a fieldwork setting (my current position), and although these approaches to understanding behavior are quite different, I love both avenues of work. I also really enjoy coding, although I am still very much a novice. I want to continue to learn statistics and graphic in R throughout my masters degree and continuing into my career.
Please feel free to contact me about my interests or with any questions!
